Pretty much anywhere in public that allows tobacco will also allow weed in British Columbia – as long as you are 19.

Of course it won’t be allowed near schools and playgrounds, within or near transit stops, or health board properties.

If you rent your apartment or house rather than own it, check with your landlord first to make sure it’s allowed.

Also keep in mind that if you live close to a park, school, or other visible public space you should grow your weed inside and not outdoors or on your balcony.
