What are concentrates?
Cannabis concentrates can contain very high levels of tetrahydrocannabinol, commonly referred to as THC, the psychotropic ingredient in marijuana. These THC-rich marijuana extracts can be vaporized and inhaled with a vape pen or via a process known as dabbing. Trichomes, which are tiny, mushroom-shaped, hairlike compounds, cover marijuana plants. These outgrowths cover the budding cannabis flower and produce its cannabinoids. You can collect different types of trichomes.
Concentrates of cannabis can be found in many different forms. They may be visible in vaporizer cartridges as weed oil, but they can also fly under the radar with medicated balms, edibles, or other forms.

Types of cannabis concentrates
What does it really matter what kind of concentrate? Well, sort of. There are some differences and the experienced stoners have their favorites. These are some of most commonly used cannabis concentrates.
Budder
Budder, an amber-yellowish cannabis extract, is very similar to butter in texture. Because it’s flavorful, vibrant, and aromatic, this concentrate is unique. Its creamy texture makes this concentrate easy to store and consume. It is easy to handle. You can scoop it up and get on with your day.
Caviar Moon Rocks
Kaviar (or moon rocks) is a dense infusion made from marijuana flowers that have been soaked in a hash oils bath and then rolled in kief. It’s potent and highly smooth and will elevate your mind into a blissful state. Kaviar is the brand that stands out for high-quality moon rocks. It delivers consistency unlike any other.
Crystalline
The purest form of cannabis concentrate, this extract consists of tetrahydrocannabinolic acid, cannabidiolic acid, or cannabidiol. Crystalline serves as a base for the formulation of cannabis products and is more potent than other concentrates, but it lacks the taste of other concentrates.
Distillate
A drop of cannabis oil distillate is pure THC golden drop of goodness containing a pure, decarboxylated, and distilled Tetrahydrocannabinol Sap.
Dry-sift Kief
Many users love the handcrafted and artisanal nature of dry sift kief, and it is one of the most sought-after and potent cannabis concentrate types. Kief is a concentrated form of all the therapeutic and concentrated cannabinoids without removing any plant matter. Kief leaves behind pure cannabinoids used to relieve anxiety, pain, inflammation, and other symptoms.
Hashish
Hashish is also known as hash and is a concentrate of marijuana that’s compressed kief.
Hashish oil
Hash oil comes from cannabis plants and contains THC (delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol), the same active ingredient as other marijuana products. A concentrated cannabis extract can be used to smoke, vape, eat, or rubbed on the skin as hash oil. The use of hash oil is sometimes called “dabbing” or “burning.”
Butane hash oil is made by using butane. This acts as a solvent, extracting all the juicy cannabinoids. Although the process is simple, it can be dangerous and should not be attempted at home without knowing what you are doing. BHO is extremely popular among users due to the possibility of getting concentrates with very high levels of THC. BHO can also be used to make a variety of other concentrates such as shatter, nug run, hash budder and shatter.
Honeycomb
The oil you get from the extraction of cannabis oil will be similar to shatter. It’s a skillful process, and everyone has their unique way of creating honeycomb.
Pull and Snap Taffy
Snap n’ pull refers to concentrates made using a chemical solvent, propane, or butane, consistent between 0.3% and 1.5%. Similar to taffy, and can be pulled at different temperatures and with varying amounts of force. So it is very flexible and accessible. The concentrate product must be dewaxed and creates a concentrated taffy appearance.
Rosin
After your crop is dried and cured, you can store it as flowers or turn it into concentrates like Rosin, edibles, oils, hash, one of many other high THC products.
Rosin is concentrated and well-known because of its purity, potency, and flavor. It is not extracted with a solvent like butane, unlike other concentrates. Instead, it is extracted from plant materials like dried flowers and kief using little heat and no pressure.
Shatter
The name of this cannabis concentrate comes from its texture. It looks like glass and shatters into small pieces when pressure is applied. Shatter is an amber gold-colored, thin, transparent, sheet-like cannabis extract.
Terp sauce
Terpenes have been a major ingredient in terp sauce’s popularity. They are used to enhance the taste and improve the effects of cannabis. Terp sauce can also be very potent.
Tincture
A tincture of marijuana is simply the cannabis plant material that has been soaked and strained in solid alcohol. The liquid can then be ingested orally as a dark-green liquid from small bottles with a dropper attached or in spray bottles. It strongly resembles cannabis. The tincture can cause a burning sensation on the tongue due to the high-strength alcohol used.
Wax
Butane hash oil also makes wax. It is, however, different in that it needs a lower temperature. When BHO is heated slightly, extractors make wax. This causes the oil to crystallize and solidify, resulting in a sticky wax product. The wax also has a higher potency which can help with many health problems, such as anxiety, depression, chronic pain, and anxiety. It has a pleasant flavor and aroma, can be stored for many months, and is easy to use.
Extraction
A cannabis extract is a particular type of cannabis concentrate. Extracts can be made by using either a solvent or a mechanical process. But they are unique because they only use a solvent. There are many cannabis extracts, usually named after their texture, and can be liquid cannabis oil extracts or dry THC extracts such as crumble. Some extracts are named for the specific extraction process.
Presses
Rosin technology is a newly emerging technique that produces solvent-free cannabis concentrate and allows for a higher quality organic product; solvent-free marijuana oil is high in terpenes. Three components are needed to make rosin: heat, pressure, and time. Rosin production balances these components to produce a superior product in flavor, effect, and taste.
Extraction Bags
A Rosin extraction bag is made of mesh, which acts as a filter system to separate cannabis plants from cannabinoid oils. These bags are similar to a coffee filter and come in different grates measured in micron units. Rosin is one of the most recent forms of cannabinoid extract. It uses heat and pressure to separate cannabis plants from their oil. This process is done with a Rosin Micron bag. Rosin Micron Bags come flat in their original packaging and create a pouch or pillow and are turned inside out.
Cooking & Edibles
Cannabutter, oils, sauces, cannamilk, cannaflour, and cannaflour are all available for cannabis edible extracts. These can be used to make baked goods, candies, and other drinks. Hashish, a popular cannabis extract, is also used to make edibles.
